Lord God, I am Yours. Yours only.
If we follow God’s ways, we’ll always have joy in us.
Daily devotion: Psalm 77:5 and 73:26
Make Holy Week holy.
Let’s mourn for Christ’s death and afterwards rejoice for His resurrection.
Be grateful for He died for our sins. He died to save us. God sacrificed His one and only Son just to save us sinners. Making Holy Week holy by observing fasting and abstinence and most of all prayer is the least we can do.
Join your brothers and sisters in Christ in praying this Holy Week.
The retreat I went to for three days have clearly changed my life. I came to know God more and even become closer to Him. I know that I have God in my life but I’ve been too focused into controlling my own life not knowing that I should surrender it to God, to Him where all things are possible. I’ve been a sinner, I’ve been unworthy of God’s love but still He accepts me, He forgives me that no one can ever do to me. Now, I’m decided that I don’t need more cause I have more than enough. I have God. I’m still reuniting with God but I know I’ll get there and if not, He’ll get me there. I love Jesus Christ so much. I thank Him for dying for me in the cross. I don’t deserve it but He loves me too much that He wants me with Him in heaven, that He believes I deserve to be with Him than be swallowed by death. Truly, God loves all of us. Just open your eyes and your heart to see and feel it.
I will too.
One day, whether you
you will stumble upon
someone who will start
a fire in you that cannot die.
However, the saddest,
most awful truth
you will ever come to find––
is they are not always
with whom we spend our lives.
